This American Heart Association Heartsaver course is for individuals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of settings.

Course content:
- Describe how high-quality CPR improves survival
- Explain the concepts of the Chain of Survival
- Recognize when someone needs CPR
- Perform high-quality CPR for an adult, child & infant
- Describe how to perform CPR with help from others
- Give effective breaths using mouth-to-mouth or a mask for all age groups
- Demonstrate how to use an AED on an adult, & child
- Describe when and how to help a choking adult or child
- Demonstrate how to help a choking infant*
*Students work with an American Heart Association Instructor to complete the Heartsaver skills practice and skills testing. An additional fee is applied based on location. Upon successful completion of the cognitive and practical testing, the student will receive a course completion card within 24 hours.
